‘Beginnings’ by Lori Ann Watson
This text is a picture book that tells the story of a variety of beginnings, beginning of a thunderstorm, beginning of a pine tree, and the beginning of human life. Without much more detail it does say that the starting place for the human person is in the mother’s womb. This would complement the Being Sexual Strand and Being Human Strand at Standard 2 as it covers some stages of development and growth and is a reminder of the wonder of God’s creation.
